Rufus Leonard develops new ReD fuel cards (Europe) website
06 March 2007
Retail Decisions (ReD), the payment card issuer and a world leader in card fraud prevention and payment processing, has launched a new website for ReD Fuel Cards (Europe) which brings the product and service portfolio fully under the ReD brand. Brand and digital media consultancy Rufus Leonard worked on the design and development of the new website. The website has adopted the same design, look and feel as the ReD plc corporate website and follows a year long brand review of how to expand ReD's fuel card offer in the UK, Ireland and continental Europe.
ReD Fuel Cards (Europe) is a fast growing fuel cards business based in Ipswich, formerly known as Fuelserv. It services primarily the commercial vehicle sector. The new website provides access to online account management features and an online directory will soon be launched to show where its cards are accepted. It complements recent updates to the ReD plc main site, (also delivered by Rufus Leonard), which now features updated information on the UK fuel card offer. A new section has been added on gift cards as part of this update - a new area of opportunity for ReD, following the acquisition of a gift cards business in Australia.
New fuel card designs, developed by Rufus Leonard, have also been introduced recently. The ReD brand now appears across the ReD Fuel Cards (Europe)’s network of over 2,200 filling stations and truck stops across the UK & Europe, indicating card acceptance.
Carl Clump, chief executive of Retail Decisions commented, “It is great to bring the two businesses fully into the ReD portfolio, so our clients can see the full range of our offer. The work undertaken by Rufus Leonard has helped us to strengthen the family links between our different business units, whilst at the same time emphasising the benefits to our customers. We are committed to building the ReD brand across all areas of the payments market where we are active, as it is a key differentiator for our business. “
Andrew Pinkess director of strategy at Rufus Leonard commented, “We have been working with ReD for seven years now and it has been very rewarding to watch the brand grow over that time. We are delighted to have been asked to help integrate these latest acquisitions into the ReD brand family and to make them readily accessible to the market via the web.”
