Just the job! Rufus Leonard launches new site for Stopgap

Stopgap, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of freelance and permanent marketing staff, this week unveils its new site, designed and built by Rufus Leonard, the leading brand development consultancy that specialises in the digital sector.
Following their first foray into online job advertising in Spring 2003, Stopgap recognised the need to refresh the design and extend the functionality offered to both clients and candidates. Stopgap is very proud of its differentiation in the marketplace and wanted to be sure its online presence communicated its depth of knowledge, its passion and its honesty. Stopgap also wanted to streamline the recruitment process and make this as easy as possible for candidates and clients alike. Rufus Leonard developed new areas of the site including:
• For clients & candidates: Stopgap Consultant Profiles as well as greater detail on the agency itself and its values
• For clients: A Client Brief area which enables clients to post new briefs 24/7, recognising client needs outside the normal 9-5 day
• For candidates: Extended career advice and a far more comprehensive registration form which also allows candidates to update their details in real time, ensuring that Consultants have the most up-to-date profiles at their fingertips
Rufus Leonard also worked closely with the Stopgap team to ensure the look and feel of the site communicated the agency’s values and its differentiation. Using Stopgap’s trademark bold and colourful imagery, Rufus Leonard has created online identity, which represents its dynamic, passionate, and fun personality.
Following the successful completion of the redesign, Rufus Leonard has now been appointed to develop Stopgap’s Australian site.
Commenting on the launch of the new UK site, Marianne Hope, Senior Project Manager at Rufus Leonard comments:
"We originally worked with Stopgap just over a year ago when they launched their permanent job search facility. At that time we developed an online questionnaire and email marketing campaign, so it has been great to take the brand that step further with the complete overhaul of the website. With this project now complete we are looking forward to further developments on the Australian site".
