Rufus Leonard creates Bringme brand for Lloyds TSB
28 May 2003
Leading brand development consultancy, Rufus Leonard, brings eight months' work to fruition with the launch of Lloyds TSB's bringme employee benefits scheme on Monday.
bringme is a unique voluntary benefits package that provides employers with exclusive offers on a wide range of financial and non-financial goods and services to offer their employees. bringme provides all of the core materials needed to launch and manage the service internally whether that is via on or off line channels.
Rufus Leonard has worked with Lloyds TSB on a number of projects over a six-year period, culminating in a specialist team working closely with Lloyds TSB Strategic Ventures to create the bringme service. Over the last eight months the work has utilised brand development, communications planning and strategy and design implementation across all of the core communications material.
The bringme brand identity will be expressed through materials used by the bringme relationship managers, employers and employees alike. The on and off line channels through which it will be brought to life include email, shows & events, employee membership packs and employee communications which will be updated as the service develops.
Neil Svensen, Principal Director at Rufus Leonard, explains the relationship with the bringme team and the development of the project over the last eight months:
"Working on bringme has been a fantastic team building exercise with all disciplines being involved from day one on a really exciting project. Our involvement from the outset was important as it ensured consistency throughout and the end product has benefited from access to a full team of brand, strategy and technical consultants, designers and project managers."
Matthew Ansell, Head of Marketing for bringme, explains how he values the integration of the bringme and Rufus Leonard teams:
"The creation and development of the bringme brand was certainly not an easy challenge, yet the team at Rufus Leonard demonstrated their expertise throughout the whole project. They were mindful of how best to deliver the brand to all of the audiences, before, during and after the launch period. Additionally they approached the project from a unique perspective. Not only were they brand experts, but they also took on the role of one of our trial companies and so were able to assess the challenges from an end user's perspective. The Rufus Leonard team really did 'live' bringme."
bringme will be launched at the end of May 2003 having been piloted by a number of public and private sector companies (in addition to Rufus Leonard) including independent family distillers William Grant & Sons Distillers Ltd and Surrey Oaklands NHS Trust, which clearly demonstrate the service's flexibility to differing company styles, sizes and profiles. bringme is hoping to sign up a number of FTSE 350 companies later in the year.
