International masters publishers launch new global partnership

20 March 2003

Leading global continuity publisher and direct marketing company, International Masters Publishers (IMP), has launched a new corporate website, www.impcorporate.com, targeted at potential new partners, developed by Rufus Leonard.

IMP markets consumer publications, in card, book, audio CD and CD-ROM format, in 30 markets across the world and has annual revenues in excess of £500m. Its publications span fields as diverse as home computing, cookery, DIY and children. IMP’s products are sold via direct marketing – existing partners in this field include Yves Rochers and Reader’s Digest – and IMP has built up an extensive global database of approximately 40 million names.

Until recently IMPs internet activities had been focused on product sites, but in light of a recent decision to scale up partnership activity they have now created a site targeted at potential new partners. Sections therefore include details of existing commercial partnerships, opportunities for partnership activity on a global scale, content licensing opportunities and profiles of IMP’s extensive global customer-base.

Ross MacEacharn, Business Development Manager for IMP, said of the decision to appoint Rufus Leonard:
“We are delighted to now have a website that supports our key messages to both new and existing partners.  The team at Rufus Leonard worked professionally to turn the work around quickly and efficiently.  They also worked well with the team our end and were responsive to our feedback.”

Andrew Pinkess, Strategy Director at Rufus Leonard, adds:
“We are pleased to have had the opportunity to work with IMP and to broaden our experience in the media and publishing sector.  Needless to say we are looking forward to working with IMP on other assignments in the future.”
