Rufus Leonard creates a new way for O2 to share Corporate Responsibility information
09 August 2006
Rufus Leonard has created an innovative online resource enabling O2, a leading European mobile services provider, to share its detailed social, environmental and ethical corporate responsibility policies and performance for 2005/06. Not only does it allow consumers, employees, investors and other interest groups the ability to search within a comprehensive bank of information, they can also build their own customised report focusing on the content that most concerns them (see: www.o2.com/cr/resource2005-06).
In order to satisfy the increasing interest in corporate responsibility issues and to be as transparent in its operations as possible; O2 approached Rufus Leonard in order to establish a way of complementing its usual printed report with more detailed information on the web.
Drawing on a long history of providing cutting-edge digital solutions for O2, including the management of its corporate website, o2.com and the development of an online sales management website; Rufus Leonard created an accessible application, offering a high level of interactivity for visitors. In addition to browsing or searching all aspects of O2’s corporate responsibility reports, they can also easily compile their own personalised report and take part in instant feedback polls.
Louise Clements, Communications Manager, O2 plc, said:
“We’re always striving to offer as much information as possible to our audiences on O2’s corporate responsibility policies and performance. This online application, created by Rufus Leonard, allows us to do this in an accessible and innovative way.”
