Rufus Leonard helps APH build on growth with new website launch
05 December 2006
Travel extras company APH has launched a new look website designed and developed by leading brand and digital media agency Rufus Leonard. Following extensive user research and testing, the site has a completely new look and feel, including a simple and intuitive quote and buy process to assist the user. The new site will help APH target specialist audiences, e.g. skiers, with its expanding product range, as well as providing additional opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling.
APH is a major player in airport parking and hotels, and has a growing presence in other travel extras such as insurance, hire cars, airport lounges, etc. The existing website www.aph.com has experienced dramatic double digit growth in online sales over recent months and APH is keen to build on this success.
Nick Caunter, Managing Director of APH, commented: “We are delighted with the results we have been getting from the online channel. The new site was designed to provide simple to use access to pre-booked airport parking plus a range of travel extras to suit the needs of today’s independent travellers. Customer reaction has been very positive so far.”
Andrew Pinkess, Client Partner at Rufus Leonard for the APH account added: “It has been great to get involved in such a fast-moving sector of the e-commerce market and to work so closely with APH on finding the right formula for the new site. We are confident the new designs and site layout will improve the user experience and create new opportunities to sell. We look forward to future collaboration in helping APH refine its marketing model.”
