Bromford Housing Group chooses Rufus Leonard to develop new brand identity
30 November 2006
Rufus Leonard has won a contract with Bromford Housing Group to develop and implement a new brand strategy for the Group, incorporating visuals and a naming architecture. The project will also involve an internal communications programme to capture and communicate the Group’s vision and values. It is expected the project will take place over a 3-4 month period.
Bromford Housing Group is recognised as one of the top 10 providers of affordable housing and related services in the UK. Established 40 years ago, it has grown steadily and will have around 24,000 homes across 42 central England authorities by 2007. The Group is made up of a number of local members who are each influential in their own areas of operation – a structure that helps to strengthen local service delivery and local relationships.
The Group’s business is spread over a wide geographical area covering central England and adjacent counties to the south east and south west. Helena Moore, director of communications and business excellence at Bromford Housing Group, commented, “As we are growing so rapidly, we need to make sure our identity and positioning are consistent and clearly understood by our people across the whole group. Rufus Leonard will be working with us on both the branding and the internal communications initiatives and we look forward to achieving some fantastic results.”
Andrew Pinkess at Rufus Leonard commented, “We expect this to be a challenging but hugely rewarding project as it involves helping Bromford to clearly communicate its vision and values through a brand development strategy. Developing the internal communications programme and aiding in its implementation will give us a great perspective on the success of the brand’s development.”
