New Media Age - 12 April 2007
Government agency UK Trade & Investment has overhauled its website.
The new site will introduce the brand at the top of the page and, for the first time, provide separate entry points for exporters and investors.
The changes are designed to enable users to be redirected more accurately.
The home page is part of a wider initiative from the agency to refresh its brand and change the way it communicates online and offline.
A spokesman for UK Trade & Investment said, "Our online delivery is becoming more crucial to our message, and the best way to get our content out is through the web."
The site was created by branding and digital consultancy Rufus Leonard and marks the first stage of the 'Hit the world running' initiative. "It's very encouraging that UK Trade & Investment chose one of the first expressions of its new brand to take place online," said Rufus Leonard strategy director Andrew Pinkess.
The government agency is responsible for attracting investors to the UK.
